Flex-O-Therm produces a large variety of moulds in different kinds and dimensions. We consult our customers concerning the most appropriate construction and the best suitable production process, based upon our experience of more than 30 years. *Silicone Moulds: for a restricted number of prototypes or parts with undercuts *Glass fibre reinforced epoxy moulds: for the production of small to middle sized series of bigger parts (e.g. sanitairy parts, medical equipment, coach parts etc.) *Aluminium moulds for the production of large series demanding short cycletimes, high accuracy or fast heat exchange Most of the time aluminium moulds are milled from CNC files, directly processed by software on our CAD/CAM stations The surface of an aluminium mould is often hardened by anodizing, followed by a PTFE coating to achieve non-sticking and long lasting properties. To handle all types of moulds, Flex-O-Therm can design and manufacture necessary auxiliary equipment e.g. hydraulic presses, heating units etc.
