GRP Piping, fittings & liners filament Wound Composite Pipes and Fittings with inside wall of metal liners (Ti, Ta, Nb, Zr, Ni, SS & their alloys) to combat the corrosion - is an entirely new concept in the process piping / chemical field. The liner material is impervious to gas and liquid leak and absolutely corrosion proof. The outer layer of composite also protects the pipe from atmospheric corrosion. Also the smooth inner liner produces extremely low frictional loss for higher discharge and reduced pumping costs. In normal circumstances, industrial plastics cannot be used for high-pressure applications economically. When used as a liner in the composite pipes, plastics like PTFE, PVDF, and CPVC etc. can be utilized for applications up to 300-bar pressure.
