ARTIFICIAL SPORT CLIMBING CLIFF The basic project should include the construction of an artificial sport climbing cliff with an area of 305m2. The cliff shall be constructed in the 3D system for active configuration, i.e. it shall contain all the necessary elements for this type of sports object: flat board, veil, ceiling, flaring. It shall be constructed in four sections: middle section – for speed competition/ left wall/ right wall/ and ceiling – for weight competition. The artificial cliff, i.e. the surface on which the sports climbers shall climb is made of triangular panel boards 1sm thick, made of six layers of reticular glass-misted foil, polyester resin and quartz sand for board coverage and for natural cliff image and better embrocation. The panels should be tested in accordance with the European standard for sport climbing structures EN 12572:1998 Annex C. Anti-rotating T-form unit matrixes are placed on the back part of the boards, and holders are locked in the front part. The holders are made of polyester and calcium carbonate and are shaped differently, similar to the natural cliff shapes. One to two internal holders/ with larger diameter are placed on every square meter of the panel board and 5 to 6 holes are placed on every square meter on the holders. Starting from the bottom towards the top of the cliff, sport climbing pegs are placed with a carrying capacity of 20 KN, and pegs and chain anchor is placed on the corner. The board appearance, divided by the artificial cliff sectors is as follows: - the cliff’s RIGHT, MIDDLE side and CEILING are made of GRP smooth boards and sections with micro molding GRP boards; - the artificial cliff’s LEFT side is made of GRP triangular panel boards, and 20% of the surface shall be covered with molding GRP triangular panel boards. The artificial cliff consists of bar-shaped steel spatial construction, made by elements that form a type of consolar spatial bar. The construction system consists of steel elements with different diameters: I profiles and closed square profiles. The artificial cliff construction consists of 3 leaning vertical climbing parts reaching +11.00m height, horizontal platform reaching +11.00m height and two vertical climbing parts reaching +16.00m height. 2. ARTIFICIAL SPORT CLIMBING CLIFF– BOULDER Other artificial cliff - type boulder is to be built. This cliff has smaller dimensions, i.e. total area of 58m2. Due to the type of competitions that shall be performed on the boulder cliff, it should be installable, consisting of 5 different cliff profiles and same height of 4.80m. They can be displaced depending on the requirements of the host of the game. This cliff type is to be made of GRP smooth boards and sections with micro-molding GRP boards 1sm thick, made of 6 layers of reticular glass-misted foil, polyester resin and quartz sand for board coverage.
